Round 1️⃣1️⃣ Old Boys Day Teamlists!!!Congratulations to Devontay To’a who Captains our First Grade side this weekend for the first time. The man we call Horse has been long serving, reliable, loyal & dedicated member of our Squad always willing to put his body on the line for the team so it’s very well deserved and we can’t wait to see you lead the boys out tomorrow.
Haydn Sing-Carter also gets a start in the Top Grade this weekend which is reward for fighting back from illness and injury and buying into what we’re trying to achieve.2’s & 3’s are stacked. The Old Boys game kicks off at 11am featuring the like of Garbage, Prickles, Sideshow Bob & The Mongrel so that’s sure to be a fun way to kick off our favourite day of the year!Do it for the ones who came before you!

Round 3️⃣ Catch Up Round Wrap!Saturday seen us take on Gold Coast Eagles & Palm Beach in our Catchup games after our Round 3 Washouts!3’s had a hard fought win against the Alleygators with the game in the balance late into the Second Half. Always plenty of highlights when the 3’s hit the field but the returns of High Ball Specialist James Oxenford and the mercurial Tony Bartley definitely stole the show. Top of the table for the 3’s heading into yet another showdown with Nerang.2nd Grade battled hard and almost pulled off a comeback for the ages to steal a win late against Eagles. A draw would have to do with both sides locked at 31 all at the full time siren. The Veteran Edward Bernstein steered the boys around and young halfback Luke Reedman was excellent when he come on in the Scrum Half position.1st Grade went into this one missing 6 regular starters but that didn’t stop the boys for a second producing an unreal effort in defence and nailing a few key scoring opportunities to come away with a 22-0 victory.
Prop Jamie Culligan took home Player of the Week honours but special mentions go to Jye Taggart, Ethan Lambert, Frank Watson & Chris Manby who all played big parts in covering for the regular starters and bringing home the win!Onto Old Boys Day this weekend which is sure to be a huge day at the Castle 🏰OWTK 🔴⚫️
