We are the largest senior club on the Gold Coast with 3 Senior Men’s Teams, Colts, Women’s Rugby Teams and Juniors from under 5 to Under 18s !

We play in the Gold Coast Rugby Union Premier Competition, catering for all ages and skill levels, from serious to social, Griffith Uni Colleges RUC always welcomes any new rugby players to the Gold Coast who want play some great rugby, have a fantastic time and experience Rugby Knights style!

We have been the Club champions for the last 4 Consecutive seasons as well as 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 Gold Coast Rugby Union First Grade premiers.

GOLD COAST SENIOR MENS RUGBY UNION

The Griffith University Colleges Knights Rugby Union Club are a club that competes in the Gold Coast and District Rugby Union Competition.

Our club has a number of Gold Coast Rugby Union Senior Men’s Teams – Colts, 3rd Grade, 2nd Grade and 1st Grade.

In 2023 Our Senior Mens teams again performed at the top of their game with 3rd grade coming in Runners up in the GCRU comp and 1st Graders taking out the Championship for the 3rd straight Season! The Club has top quality coaches to help develop players skills to ensure they are growing each year as player. Check out our Coaches page for more details and contacts for the 2025 Season

FOUR FROM SEVEN. 🏆 Seven premierships were on offer to this club in 2026. We won four of them. 🔴 UNDER 14s — 32–19 over Helensvale 🔴 3rd GRADE — 15–7 over Nerang, MacDonald Cup 🔴 1st GRADE — 33–31 over Nerang, Phil Temperton Cup 🔴 UNDER 13s — 32–22 over the Eagles, back-to-back The special edition of KnightWatch is out now. The U13s coming from 17–0 down. Every premiership, with what it actually took. And the bit that matters most — the thank-you to every person who got this club there. Players, coaches, managers, ground marshals, canteen, bar, junior parents, the committee, the Old Boys, and everyone who travelled. Nobody did this on their own. ⚔️ U10 SEASON AWARDS ⚔️What a season for our U10 Knights! 🔥 This incredible team had never lost a game, right up until the very final game of this season. That last game marked their first-ever loss, and although it wasn’t the result they had hoped for, it takes absolutely nothing away from what this group has achieved.To remain undefeated for so long is an incredible accomplishment and a true reflection of their talent, hard work, commitment and determination.To remain undefeated for so long is an incredible accomplishment and a true reflection of their talent, hard work, commitment and determination.A huge part of that comes down to their incredibly passionate coach, whose commitment, belief and dedication to this group of boys has been there every step of the way. ⚔️ U12 SEASON AWARDS ⚔️What an incredible achievement from our U12 Knights this season! Making it all the way through to the Semi Finals was something this team should be extremely proud of. With many of these players having been Knights for many years, this group showed exactly what loyalty, resilience and determination look like.Throughout the season they faced some incredibly strong and stacked opposition, while also battling multiple serious injuries that sadly ruled players out for the remainder of the season. Despite every setback, they continued to turn up, work hard and play for one another.This group has built something special together, and the way they continue to back each other, work hard and fight for every opportunity is what makes this team so exciting for the future.
