We play in the Gold Coast Rugby Union Premier Competition, catering for all ages and skill levels, from serious to social, Griffith Uni Colleges RUC always welcomes any new rugby players to the Gold Coast who want play some great rugby, have a fantastic time and experience Rugby Knights style!
We have been the Club champions for the last 4 Consecutive seasons as well as 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 Gold Coast Rugby Union First Grade premiers.
GOLD COAST SENIOR MENS RUGBY UNION
The Griffith University Colleges Knights Rugby Union Club are a club that competes in the Gold Coast and District Rugby Union Competition.
Our club has a number of Gold Coast Rugby Union Senior Men’s Teams – Colts, 3rd Grade, 2nd Grade and 1st Grade.
In 2023 Our Senior Mens teams again performed at the top of their game with 3rd grade coming in Runners up in the GCRU comp and 1st Graders taking out the Championship for the 3rd straight Season! We round out our 2025 Coaching Team with a New Recruit to help take our Club to the next level. ![]()
Welcome Jimmy Tuivaiti to the Mighty Knights.![]()
Jimmy comes to us fresh off the back of his final season playing in Italy. ![]()
Jimmy’s resume is an impressive one to say the least with stints at North Harbour, Calvisano and Zebre in the Top 12 & Pro 14 competitions and from 2018-2020 Jimmy Represented his adopted nation Italy 6 times. ![]()

His focus area with the Seniors will be around our Defence and Breakdown systems and to improve our general contact areas. He will also spend some time with our Juniors to help improve tackle technique amongst other things. ![]()
We’re extremely privileged to have Jimmy come on board and he has said he cannot wait to get started with the club. ![]()

First session is this Thursday 16th at 6:15pm so come on down and meet the Coaches and get a feel for what’s sure to be a HUGE 2025 Season. ![]()
